"Hallie why do you have to go?!" Nara whines. "why what are you complaining about? your going camping with your man". The two best friends where in Hallie's room preparing in their own way for Hallie's vacation to Bahamas.
"My boy"
Hallie smirks "whatever at least your getting more action than me".
"we'll see anything can happen in the land were the palm trees sway" Nara says with a knowing smile.
Nara watched Hallie disappear in the crowed of travelers in the airport. she sighed as she felt a tug on her hand, she turned to look into the round face of her man...or boy. He smiled and said "we should get going our friends are waiting outside". Nara nodded and followed him out of the airport towards the blue van holding a four teenagers ready to go camping.
The van pulled into the camping grounds around noon, and the kids tried hopelessly to set up. Except Nara she just sat and watched the show missing her friend terribly.
"baby, can you make a fire for me I'm getting cold" Nara asked her boy sweetly.
"anything for you" he smiled.

" um Nara.... I can't start the fire"
"what?!?! you don't know how or you just can't?
"both"

............
............
"no this isn't happening, babe, its over"
"what? what do you mean its over?" his eyes glazed over.
"I'm not going someone who doesn't know how to start a simple fire, I'm sorry"
"I'll learn please give me another chance" tears started running freely as he begged.
"we'll see maybe after spring break... right now I'm going to the airport"
Nara caught the next bus out of the camping grounds to the airport, leaving her boy on the bench at the campsite.
"HALLIEE!!! I'M COMING OVER!!!!"
"Whaat?! To Bahamas?"
"YES!"
"Why?? What happened to the camping trip with your MAN?"
"...my boy...and I broke up with him..."
"WHAT?~! WHY?!! What happened? Are you okay? I swear, if he cheated...I'm killing him..."
"Psh..no...I'm fine, he's the one that's been crying..."
"...what did you do..............?"
"...Okay, he couldn't make a fire. WHAT KIND OF MAN...or boy....DOESN'T KNOW HOW TO MAKE A FIRE??!"
"Oh Nara...you guys were perfect for each other...kind of..."
"...didn't know how to make a fire..."
"When am I picking you up?"
"Now. Please. I need to start surveying my choices around here."
The next day was the day that Nara and Leonardo first laid eyes on each other. Leonardo was smitten at first sight , but Nara on the other hand reluctant and just like whatever to him because she had another guy in mind. But Hallie ,who didn't want Nara to be a nun over the break encouraged her to at least say hi to the poor fellow. So to please her bestie Nara went and said hello to Leo, and Leonardo who was a romantic (he was french of course he was romantic and he really liked cheese) the first thing he says is "Hello Nara..I'm Leonardo La Bush..but you can call me Leo lika lion". Nara, who was sort-of impressed said "okay." and that he could call her "Nara".
So that started off the foursome that was made of Hallie, Alfredo, Nara, and Leo....nardo. They all enjoyed the beach and the water so guess where they spent all their time? Yup at the ocean. It was the third day since their meeting and Leonardo and Nara were buddies..they had a lot in common. One of the things was that they both liked the coral reefs..So Nara wearing her hot bathing "suit" ["suit" because it was nothing but a teeny weeny bikini] and with Leo wearing a nice pair of swim trunks they made their way to the reefs where Nara steps on the coral and start bleeding..and Leonardo the handsome chivalrous romantic he is ...picks her up and takes her to shore where he rips up his shirt [*swoons*] and makes a bandage for her foot. And he suddenly makes eye contact with her as she looked up at his dazzling face. He looked deep into her dark browns with his emeralds....And he said....
"I'm hungry
...for your lips." and without a word [with her bleeding foot], she just kept staring at him until he leaned down to kiss her, she wouldn't let him end it so he laid her down on the sand were they shared some passionate PDA.
They kinda lost track of time, the sun was setting when they heard deep "uh hem". they separated trying to look innocent while they beheld Hallie and Alfredo looking all akward, and uncomfortable.
a long silence passed.......

until Leo broke it with a casual "did you guys have fun?" Alfredo the real charmer says "not as much as you did". The cousins do a little hi five as they all return to the condo. Hallie and Nara fall behind to share a little meaningful chat......
"so how was that?" Hallie asks truly curious,
Nara replies "you now how they have the french kiss? I think they actually have a course in France were they teach the kids how to fulfill the standard of a French Kiss"
"so it went well then"
"you have no idea", Nara says with a coy smile
Two days later the foursome go to the hottest dancing place in Bahamas. Leonardo surprises Nara by being able to dance like a pro. Nara asks him were he got his mad skills, Leo shocked her by saying that his parents were pro-world-class-dancers, and he as their only child picked up some of their moves. Nara blown out of her mind demanded him to show her some moves, which didn't take her long to master. It was one of the funnest nights of her nights with stolen kisses from dreamy Leo, wicked dancing, and naughty sips from random cups they found lying around. Ultimately it was her most rebellious night ever.........
When Nara had had enough of the closeness in the room she went to tell Hallie that she and Leo were going outside for a breather, but she couldn't find her anywhere, Nara started to get worried but Leo assured her that Hallie was in very capable hands. " that's what i'm worried about" Nara replied, "but whatever, Hallie is responsible, she wouldn't do anything foolish, lets go walk along the shore". So they leave the party and walk along the beach in each others arms, Leo a little tipsy, but Nara could handle him.
That was when they saw a couple in the water, they couldn't tell exactly what they were doing, but Leo had some quite brash ideas, and Nara just laughed at his imagination. They were getting nearer to the couple who were, kissing and talking. Nara thought it was cute until she saw a familiar dress lying on the sand, a dress that she herself bought for her best friend, whom she recalled wearing it that specific day. She nudged Leo, who fell over.
"Leo!" Nara whispered fiercely "get up! I think that couple in the water is Hallie and Aldfredo and that's Hallie's dress in the sand!"
"really?.....wow.....didn't know she had it in her" Leo replied while getting up.
"I've got an idea" Nara said evilly, "let's swim under water till we reach them then we'll attack those to love birds!"
"brilliant, Amor!"
Still in her dress, Nara slowly and carefully slips into the water and starts swimming towards her friend, who was much to distracted to notice. After taking his shirt off Leo follows Nara's lead, they both go underwater and hold there breaths the rest of the way but since it was salt water and they couldn't open there eyes with out them stinging to death, they had to swim without sight....and of course they go off track and Leo bumps his head against a buoy, and Nara who was swimming behind, bumped into him, forcing them both to come up for air ruining their entire plan.
Laughing they look over to see casual expressions on Hallie and Alfredo's faces, who were by then a mitre apart. "hello" Nara said innocently "fancy running into you guys here, Leo and i were just out you know swimming...." Leo still a little muddled cried out " no my love, we were trying to play a joke on them".
"Thank you dear for yelling out our little plan" Nara said sarcastically but laughing at the same time.
The last few days of their two week vacation passed in a haze, they went bowling, shopping, spent a
little quality time with the rents, but they mostly spent their time at the beach, and had loads of fun. But then came the time to say goodbye.
"My love that was more entertaining then Martha May, last Christmas" Leo praised
"yeah, that was fun Leo, your a better kisser than Louis Gateau, which is an accomplishment" Nara said
"well.....I guess this is goodbye, I'll catch'cha on facebook?" Leo asked
"sure, I'll poke you" Nara replied
"poke me now" Leo commanded
And that set off the fire once again, and in front everyone, including the Farkes. Leo and Nara had their last smoking encounter.
After their non-G Rated scene. Nara went back to her bestie's family with a smile on her face, thinking about the promise of tomorrow.... thinking about her guy interest back home.
